Based in Sedalia, Missouri, the company has operated for more than three decades and supplies new unprimed brass intended for reloading use only. This is not loaded ammunition. Bulk rifle brass should be properly prepared before loading, including full length sizing, trimming, and chamfering.
During processing, some case mouths may appear slightly out of round or show minor dents below the shoulder due to tumbling and annealing steps. These marks are usually corrected after the first firing and do not affect performance or case lifespan. Some cases may also show residual annealing coloration or slight mouth expansion depending on caliber.
Proper preparation includes straightening the case mouth using a sizing die, then chamfering and deburring both inside and outside edges. Lubrication inside the neck helps prevent stretching during resizing. Nickel plated versions require additional lubrication because of their harder surface, and care should be taken to avoid stuck cases by using proper removal tools rather than household implements.
